Bev Gilliard is an Author, and International Speaker, who is very friendly, love people and believes in putting God first place in her life. Bev writes in the field of Christian intimate literature and poetry that are transformational, revelatory, provocative, convicting, and bold. 

Also, Bev is a certified Legal Advocate and certified Suicide Prevention Instructor. 

Bev Gilliard was born in Belize City, Belize, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to San Clemente, California in 1981. For most of her adult life, Bev has worked for State Government but had a passion for serving others. In 2016, Bev decided to go back to school for an interdisciplinary degree in Human Learning and Behavior with Educational Psychology, and Counseling, and Deaf Studies. Later that year her university recognized her as a Who's Who Amongst American Universities and College Students. In 2017, she started her own non-profit organization helping individuals impacted by violence and was nominated for the AARP's prestigious Andrus Award. She also received two scholarship from her university that year for her contribution to education and community service. 

Additionally, in 2017, after becoming a certified suicide prevention instructor, Bev became part of a sixteen-member team formed to educate Georgian's on suicide prevention. This inspired Bev to start a second nonprofit to offer the free education service nationally. Later that year, in 2017, Bev was nominated for the Georgia State University (GSU) Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award, and the GSU Royal Flame Leadership Award for community service. Bev has a combined over 40 certifications in the domestic violence, family violence, and safety, and is a certified drug and alcohol group therapist, certified suicide prevention instructor, and certified legal advocate.
