Battered, Beaten, Bruised, but not Broken
In her educational textbook style memoir, "Battered, Beaten, Bruised, But Not Broken," Bev candidly details her experiences with violence, aggravated stalking, and the effects of stalking that contributed to emotional trauma. More importantly, Bev chronicled her memoir in such a way that the readers can experience the highs and lows of her emotion, journey and champion her resiliency. Bev used her memoir to educate her readers on the effects of violence from an impacted individual's perspective. She also details the physical and emotional toll violence has on its victim and how we can learn to cope and not let abuse define who we are, leaving us broken. Bev says anyone impacted by abuse can recover and go on to live a happy, healthy, resilient life once they make the decision that enough is enough and step out in faith, walking away from their abuser and abusive situation. Finally, while Bev supports all individuals impacted by violence, she is passionate about working with women and girls in a shared experience so that every woman and girl can feel safe, supported, loved, listened to, and respected. She is learning how to say "no" and dealing with the burdensome consequences when "no" is not heard or listened to. And finding love for yourself when the only love you can see is hidden deep within your most challenging part of your past. Bev Speaking Topics includes Grief, Domestic Violence, Family Violence, Suicide Prevention, Survivors of Suicide and Homicide, Brokenness, Finding Hope, Dealing with Anxiety, and Depression. Chosen
This book of testimonies is a compilation of my real-life experiences. I share these personal stories hoping they will inspire and encourage those who may be experiencing extreme adversity. It is a recommended read for both Christians and non-Christians. You will see how having faith the size of a mustard seed can grow and cement your relationship with God. More significantly, you will see up close what happens when God is at work and when He blesses even the most undeserving person with grace and mercy. Some testimonies are of situations that could have had dire consequences. However, God intervenes, intercede, and interrupted even some of the most deadly and emotionally crushing conditions. God Bless You as you read.

Sometimes our Biases in the church and in life causes us overwhelming burdens and block our blessings. This book allows you to look more closely at how your biases may be controlling your behavior and preventing you from growing, keeping you stagnated, and burdened that you cannot see the many blessings God has given you.
