She serves as a beacon of hope by choosing to turn adversity into triumph, to find inspiration where others might only find pain, and forge a truly significant life; she uses her voice as an empowered speaker to defend the right of every human being to pursue happiness and in support of every person who has suffered any form of violence and oppression, and who are being silenced and manipulated for the pleasure, comfort and convenience of others. to withstand and deal with the pressures of life without becoming broken in the process, or when stability, kindness, and benevolence is not received.  Bev says, "When your mind tries to tell you there is no hope–there is always hope. And, when people point the finger in blame and try to shame you for your experiences, you have to know how to respond and to never react."

Bev found peace, purpose, and happiness after overcoming extraordinary personal challenges with a lifespan of victimization. Bev says, "My experience is not uncommon to what many women have experienced in their lifetime. Child sexual assault, sexual harassment, family violence, hard times, loss of hope, disrespect, pain, death, obstacles, fear, grief, depression, and anxiety have all consumed me, as it does to others at one point or the other in their life.

Bev's goal is to ensure equality under the law for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. To create a society and government to defend these rights and allow all voices to speak and be heard.

Bev's Work as an Author

Bev enjoys her editorial independence, is very friendly, love people and believes in putting God first place in her life. Bev writes in the field of Christian intimate literature and poetry that are transformational, revelatory, provocative, convicting, and bold.

Bev said, "No one steers my opinion except God. At a time when there are so few sources of information you can really trust, you can trust the Bible, the infallible Word of God." This is vital as it enables me to lend a voice to those less heard, challenge the powerful and hold them to give account on critical issues, start the debate on issues plaguing society, and provide accurate answers to severe ills of the world in these critical times.

In
her memoir, “Battered, Beaten, Bruised, But Not Broken,” Bev candidly detail her experiences with childhood sexual assault, family violence, intimate partner violence (domestic violence), aggravated stalking, and the effects of stalking that contributed to PTSD emotional trauma and suicide ideation and attempt suicide.

More importantly, Bev chronicled her memoir in such a way that the readers can experience the highs and lows of her emotion,  journey, and champion her resiliency. Bev used her memoir to educate her readers on the effects of violence from an impacted individual's perspective, the physical and emotional toll violence has on its victim, and how we can learn to cope and not let abuse define who we are or leave us broken. Bev says anyone impacted by abuse can recover and go on to live a happy, healthy, resilient life once they make the decision that enough is enough and step out in faith, walking away from their abuser and abusive situation.

Finally, while Bev supports all individuals impacted by violence, she is passionate about working with women and girls in a shared experience so that every woman and girl can feel safe, supported, loved, listened to and respected. Learning how to say “no” and dealing with the heavy consequences when “no” is not heard or listened to. And, finding love for yourself when the only love you can find is hidden deep within your most difficult part of your past.
